Aims/Objectives

The CMHS is for adults across Lochaber. The service offers Mental Health services such as Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing, Support Work, Counselling, Medicine and other therapies as one comprehensive service. They try to respond to immediate, short/mid and longer-term Mental Health needs. Their aim is to provide, wherever possible, a community alternative to hospital and they work with a range of MH service users and carers (groups and individuals) and a range of statutory and voluntary agencies too.
